Our Services

At Nizhoni Mind, we provide compassionate, expert psychiatry care—including evaluations, medication management, and therapy—tailored to your needs from the comfort of your home.

Psychiatric Evaluation

A psychiatric evaluation is an assessment conducted by a mental health professional to understand an individual's mental health, establish a diagnosis, and develop a treatment plan.

Impulse Control Disorders

Impulse Control Disorders involve difficulty resisting harmful or socially disruptive urges, such as aggressive outbursts or compulsive gambling. These behaviors are often performed without regard for consequences, leading to personal or social issues. Treatment may include cognitive-behavioral therapy and medication.

ADHD

ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects focus, impulse control, and activity levels. It is often diagnosed in childhood but can persist into adulthood.

Medication Management

We offer expert guidance on medication use, closely monitoring with lab tests and assessments to ensure safe, effective treatment tailored to each patient.

Addiction

Addiction is a chronic condition characterized by the compulsive use of a substance or engagement in a behavior despite harmful consequences. It affects the brain's reward system, altering how a person experiences pleasure, processes emotions, and makes decisions.

Pediatrics (6-17)

We deliver compassionate mental health care using age-appropriate assessments, play therapy, and family involvement to support children and teens.

Anxiety

Anxiety is a mental health disorder characterized by persistent worry, fear, or nervousness that can interfere with daily life and may benefit from therapeutic intervention.

Autism

Autism, or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), is a developmental condition affecting communication, behavior, and social interaction, with symptoms varying widely and often requiring individualized support and therapy.

Eating Disorder

Eating disorders are serious conditions involving abnormal eating habits that negatively impact physical and mental health, often requiring comprehensive treatment.

Insomnia

Insomnia is a sleep disorder marked by difficulty falling or staying asleep, leading to poor sleep quality and daytime impairment. It can be acute or chronic and is often caused by stress, lifestyle, or medical factors.

Bipolar Disorder

Bipolar disorder is a mental health condition characterized by extreme mood swings, including emotional highs (mania) and lows (depression). These shifts can impact energy, behavior, and daily functioning, and the condition requires long-term management.

Depression

Depression is a mood disorder marked by persistent feelings of sadness, loss of interest, and low energy, affecting daily functioning and quality of life. It often requires a combination of therapeutic approaches for effective management.

Why Psychiatric Telemedicine?

Tele-Psychiatry offers several benefits that enhance accessibility, convenience, and quality of care for individuals seeking mental health treatment.

Key Benefits:

Access to Care:

Telemedicine removes geographic barriers, allowing individuals in remote or underserved areas to access psychiatric care. This is especially valuable in rural regions or for those with limited access to in-person providers.

Convenience and Flexibility:

Patients can schedule appointments from the comfort of their homes, reducing the need for travel and time off work. Evening and weekend appointments are often available, offering greater flexibility.

Privacy and Comfort:

For some, receiving care in a familiar setting may reduce anxiety or stigma associated with seeking mental health treatment. The option for virtual care can also encourage those who might hesitate to seek help in person. Nizhoni Mind ensures Hippa compliance, by upholding patient privacy.
